Buying a golf bag is a decision that only you will be able to make. Everyone has a different outlook on what they want from their golf bag, and it mostly depends on how you get around the course. Obviously looks and styling come into it, but these are just cosmetic. But your golf bag will hold your clubs and equipment as you play your round, so, more importantly, it needs to be functional as well. So how do you want your golf bag to work for you?

arry Bag.
As the name implies, you sling this bag over your shoulder and carry it for 18 holes. So you will want something that is lightweight, to make it easier for you. You can get them with single or double straps, but whatever you choose make sure these are comfortable for you. And also remember, because these bags are light and easy to carry, they will not have many pockets. Apart from your clubs, you will probably have room for some balls and tees and maybe a towel.

Cart Bags.
These bags are bigger and usually have many pockets to carry everything 
from rain suits to cell phones. Made to be used with either a motorized cart or a pull cart, the extra space that these golf bags provide will mean you will never need to be short of any equipment when you are on the course. There will be room for most things in these bags, even a valuables pocket!
